Specialist Motorcycle Workshop Servicing Tools

Sometimes you need a unique tool for your motorbike. Sometimes the factory doesn't have a choice and needs to make it that way to fit an odd shape, but sometimes they are just trying to stop you getting inside in the hopes you will pay their service department to fix it for you. You can try and improvise but it takes forever and you are much more likely to slip and damage your bike's components or your own body. We've all done it though. You end up with ugly scrapes and gouges, rounded off edges on bolts or in allen heads because you can't get enough grip for the torque, and often a new knuckle scar.

I know it seems like suspension is all we do - but we keep a small selection of specific chassis tools and other special kits for motorcycle workshops, service centres and DIY garage repairs. Axle insert tools for servicing multiple different diameters, rear wheel hub sockets for Honda motorbikes, slide hammer style dowel pullers can grip that shaft without leaving marks, friction band wrenches with different sized inserts for ratcheting bolts in tight spaces without constantly taking a ring spanner on and off the head, work stands, any tool that isn't for suspension lives in here.
Save yourself and your motorcycle some time and injury.

Teknik owner and head tech Nick used to do a lot more engine tuning and complete racing bike setup before focusing on becoming such a suspension uber nerd - read about how his enduro racing engines dominated the Thumper Nats & Australian Safari Rally with no mechanical DNFs. If you're repairing and tuning your bike he's written a range of DIY tutorial articles in our Technial Articles - fuelling and carb tuning, air filters, changing timing chains and pistons, clutches, gearing, graphics - Teknik Motorsport have done it all, and we're happy to give you some tips on how you can do it yourself.

Check out our motor oil as well as our gearbox oil for your next engine service, plus we have a range of chain lubricant aerosols for your drivetrain, and spray lubes for cables and levers.
